And I LOVED when the children pretended to be the teacher and would "read" to the class ;).

Your family sounds like it's on the right path towards raising readers!Tonyahttp://earlyliteracycounts.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186667433819310087.post-46068665807616724582010-08-03T12:45:50.889-04:002010-08-03T12:45:50.889-04:00Marcia - I'm glad you've enjoyed the posts...Marcia - I'm glad you've enjoyed the posts. Dads who read to their kids ROCK!Tonyahttp://earlyliteracycounts.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186667433819310087.post-62397291065992355842010-08-02T23:53:32.217-04:002010-08-02T23:53:32.217-04:00These are great tips!

We even keep a few of the soft infant books in the baby girl's pack-n-play so she can "read" on her own while she's playing.

While we try to read daily with all three children, I think the cutest thing is when the twins "read" to baby girl.

So far I think we've been successful in fostering a love of reading in our home.Stephaniehttp://ubamyoungreaders.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186667433819310087.post-38233668786527581072010-08-02T23:26:05.504-04:002010-08-02T23:26:05.504-04:00Wonderful advice! But I've heard it done before!

Daddy is busy reading bedtime stories to our children as I read this post. He even reads with great voices (and he's the silent type). :)jeannine: waddlee-ah-chaahttp://waddleeahchaa.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186667433819310087.post-54115199086355681212010-08-02T13:22:03.068-04:002010-08-02T13:22:03.068-04:00I've been enjoying these posts about reading t...I've been enjoying these posts about reading to baby.
